A brand that promises a 24 month retention warranty cannot afford to churn the team that operates it every two years, which is what most software companies do by default.
The specific tradeoffs that come with this pace. We do not hire junior. Every role is senior or lead level, because the onboarding cost is too high to invest in training. Compensation runs high for category because we need to be competitive against bigger companies with worse working conditions. Equity is generous for similar reasons. And the interview process is slow, typically eight to twelve weeks, because we need to be sure before extending an offer.
If you are looking for a place where you can grow into a senior role, this is not it. If you are already senior and looking for a place to stop changing jobs every two years, we might be it.

We pay for your time during paid work sample rounds at senior engineer rates, typically one or two days of work.
